From March 8th to 14th, a 5-people work group from the School of Information Science and Engineering under the leadership of Prof. Bin Hu carries out the enrollment propaganda work for Lanzhou-Drexel Joint Education Project.

In the 7-day period, the group went to Henan, Fujian, Hebei, and Beijing to conduct advocacy and consultation with local education authorities and key middle schools. The group distributed more than 300 materials and held 8 lectures for admissions. It provided a good reference for candidates and parents to understand Lanzhou University and the project. Many schools, students and parents expressed great interest and expectation for the first Joint Education Project of Lanzhou University.

The Joint Education Project is approved by the Ministry of Education in July 2017, aiming to introduce foreign high-quality educational resources, advanced education and teaching concepts, school and management experience, enhance the quality of training of Lanzhou University. The program plans to enroll 120 people in 2018.
