The 14th ’Northwest Division of TheChineseCollegeStudentsComputerDesigncompetition’ in 2021 was held in Xi'an in May, the final of the national competition was held in online ways from middle-July to late August for minimize the impact of COVID-19 pandemic. Our school has been organized and selected by the School of Information Science and Engineering to select a number of teams. After the provincial and national finals of the Northwest Region, and finally won two second prizes and three third prizes in the national competitions. There are 5 first prizes, several second prizes and below in Northwest China.

Among them, lu Hao, a 2018 student from the School of Nuclear Science and Technology, Huang Shaoxiang, a 2019 student of Information Science and Engineering, and Xu Liying, a 2020 student from the School of Journalism and Communication,rely on their works ‘LANDA XIAOCUI’ won the second prize in the National Competition of the Software Application Group. Liu Jiahui and Chen Chan, students of the School of Art in 2019, won the second prize in the National Competition of digital Media Static Design Professional Group with their work ‘Passion for Ice and Snow to Build a Dream for the Olympics’. School of Information Science and Engineering 2018 students Li Weiyi, Zhang Zihan, Jin Canguo won the third prize of national Artificial Intelligence Practice Competition group for their work ‘Learning/Reading Assistance System Based on Hand Tracking’. Yang Zezhou, Li Zelin and Xu Zhiyuan, students from the School of Information Science and Engineering of 2018, won the third prize of the Web Application and Development Group National Competition for their work ‘E-Poem -- Poetry Fighting Platform Based on Voice and Image Recognition’. Rao Shihao and Huang Wu, students from the School of Information Science and Engineering, and Xie Hongfei, students from the School of Art, won the third prize of the National Data Visualization Group.

It is understood that ‘Chinese College Students Computer Design Competition’ is by the Ministry of Education computer teaching guidance committee, the Ministry of Education software engineering teaching guidance committee, the Ministry of Education university computer course teaching guidance committee of education, the Ministry of Education liberal arts computer basic teaching guidance committee, China Education Television jointly sponsored by the competition. Since its inception in 2008, it covers undergraduates of all majors in Chinese mainland ordinary universities.The students will make persistent efforts, actively prepare, and strive to get more excellent results in next year's competition.
