In order to strengthen the communication between computer Colleges (departments) of western universities and promote the common development of computer disciplines in western universities, the third Dean's forum of computer colleges of western universities hosted by the school of information science and engineering of Lanzhou University was held in Lanzhou on October 14-15. Nearly 100 deans (deans) of the School of Computer Science, experts and scholars, and relevant personnel from Huawei from more than 60 universities in the western region participated in this forum. Professor Deyan He, assistant president of Lanzhou University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Deyan He said that Lanzhou University has actively promoted the upgrading and transformation of high-quality traditional engineering majors and the cross integration of modern information science, developed artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain and other directions, and has made certain achievements in discipline construction, talent training and serving local economic development.
